Jenna contacted me to do a family portrait at the Equinox Hotel and Spa in Manchester, Vermont. We corresponded back and forth to set up the time and date. Her last email said “We’ll be the couple with the big Bernese mountain dog :)” At that point I got excited! A big bundle of puppy love playing in the snow! Sign me up!
Thanks Jenna and Aaron!(Elsa too!) I had so much fun playing in the snow and chatting while we warmed up by the fireplace after!
And in case you were wondering, Yes, the Equinox Hotel and Spa is dog friendly!
Lissy and Joe were married last weekend in Exeter, NH at Lissy’s Mom’s house. While it’s not unlikely for a bride to be married at her Mother’s home, Lissy’s Mom lives at a Retirement Complex, which would seem to be unlikely location for a wedding. But this place has beautiful HUGE fireplaces and lovely great rooms. Perfect for a intimate wedding.
From the moment I walked in the room was filled with love and pure joy for this amazing couple. While the ceremony had it’s quirks, like the girls leaving Lissy’s vows in their dressing room and the wedding ring arriving just after the ceremony, it all truly made for a memorable and unique celebration.

I met up with Rachel & Bill early yesterday morning for their engagement portrait session. We started on the porch of the duplex where they met. Rachel lived on one side and Bill on the other… too cute, right?
Can’t wait for the wedding next summer!!
