I met up with Rachel & Bill early yesterday morning for their engagement portrait session. We started on the porch of the duplex where they met. Rachel lived on one side and Bill on the other… too cute, right?
Can’t wait for the wedding next summer!!

Lisa & Donna traveled from the tornado ravished south to be married at the Oakledge Park treehouse, aka: the Kathy Blume Wedding Chapel of Love. As we walked through the park snapping pictures before the ceremony, passers-by smiled, waved and honked at the happy couple. Lisa asked me, “Do you know them?” “I think they’re congratulating ya’ll” I replied.
Jacquie & Alex travled all the way from Texas to Burlington, Vermont to be married as king and queen on 10.10.10. We met just before sunset in Oakledge Park to take some pre-ceremony portraits. We danced and sang on the earth clock, gazed at the Adirondack sunset across Lake Champlain, and even posed for a few paparazzi photos for some folks that stumbled upon the scene.

King and Queen pause to enjoy the perfect Adirondack sunset from Oakledge Park in Burlington, Vermont just before their wedding.

A pre-wedding dance on the Burlington Earth Clock.

The view of the Oakledge Park Treehouse while Jacquie and Alex are married by Katheryn Blume. If you look close you can see all three up there!
Just after sunset Queen Jacquie and King Alex were married by celebrate extraordinaire, Katheryn Blume. To date this was my first costumed wedding, and what fun! All the best to you both!
